  • QC Operative


    H&A Prestige Bottling Ltd, based in Chorley, is one of the UK’s largest independent contract bottling companies. H&A offer filling, packing and bonded warehouse solutions. We specialise in all alcohol, non alcohol and syrups and provide a complete supply chain solution with the ability to fill products in a range of shapes and sizes.

    H&A is now looking for a Quality Control Operative to join our busy QC department.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:  Analysis of products in accordance with Company’s Quality Plan (Promptly and adhering to work instruction).  Ensuring out of spec results reported and actioned in a timely manner  Ensuring the Company Quality Policy is being adhered to, and correct paperwork completed  Ensuring QC Equipment is used as per instructions, and reporting issues to the Quality Manager  Recording all retained samples information  Processing all samples in the correct manner  Maintaining an adequate standard of housekeeping in the QC laboratory  Any other reasonable duties as requested by the QC Coordinator or Quality Manager

    The successful candidate will:-  Preferably be qualified to A’ Level standard in science (or to an equivalent standard).  Be able to follow strict procedures and guidelines.  Be thorough, with good attention to detail.  Be conscientious & reliable.  Be able to work as part of a team.  Have good communication skills.  Be computer literate.  Have some experience in quality control in a production environment.

    Hours will include shift work rotating 6am-2pm, and 2pm-10pm.

  • Materials Scheduler

    H&A is looking for a Materials Scheduler to join our team. Duties and responsibilities will include:-  Liaising with suppliers to ensure materials are shipped on promised dates  Checking materials have arrived as per date on order list  Updating the order list  Checking the inbound diary throughout the day and chasing up any outstanding deliveries and ensuring incoming balance across the wee  Checking delivery notes, reviewing shortages and overs  Attending daily production meetings  Monitoring Supplier performance  Coordinating off site and sub contract materials.  Any other reasonable request

    The successful candidate will have:  Possess excellent communication skills  Be able to organise and prioritise workload  Have a good understanding of the company’s policies and procedures.  Be thorough, with good attention to detail

    Hours 8.30am-17.00pm Monday-Friday with one hour unpaid lunch break.

  • Customer Services Manager

We specialise in all alcohol, non alcohol and syrups and provide a complete supply chain solution with the ability to fill products in a range of shapes and sizes.

    H&A is now looking for a Customer Service Manager to join our team.

    The successful candidate will be responsible for:  Supervising the Customer Services Representatives ensuring that they fulfil their duties, are fully trained and work within the company’s policies and procedures.  Assisting the CS Reps with customer, credit control queries and internal queries  Produce and maintain customer service working instructions, documents and procedures.
     Providing support to the sales team on customer issues when required.  Manage finish good stock levels, arranging for old stock to be destroyed or put in the staff shop. Obtaining prices for the staff shop if required.  Managing old materials and expired ingredients. Reviewing re-charge possibilities, organising the return of customer owned materials and destruction where required.  Signing off of new and amended production specs in a timely manner.  Any other reasonable request

    The successful candidate will:-  Previous experience supervising team  Have experience of working in a busy customer service environment preferably in manufacturing.  Have good attention to detail  Have excellent time management skills/organisational skills, be self-motivated and have a flexible approach to work.  Have excellent communication skills and be able to establish and maintain relationships internally and externally  Be confident, reliable and trustworthy.  Be able to work as a team  Be IT literate, including excel. Knowledge of SAP is desirable.  Export knowledge advantageous not essential
