H&A Prestige Bottling Limited has unveiled a new state-of-the-art bottling line at its facility in Chorley, as it was officially opened by Halewood International Chairwoman Judy Halewood on Thursday 2nd May.
H&A, which employs around 120 people in Lancashire, has been operating in the
wines and spirits trade for over one hundred years and was acquired by Halewood International in 2003. The company bottles a number of products for Halewood, including Whitley Neill Gin, Sidekick and Red Square Vodka, as well as key brands for other leading drink and food companies.
The new bottling line will allow H&A to produce a wider range of bottle formats incorporating in particular, PET, in a variety of shapes and sizes from187m1 to 1.51. The sophisticated new equipment achieves a first class finish as required for premium, corked, glass bottled spirits, in addition to speeding up the bottling process to allow orders to be turned around more swiftly.
Our new bottling line will enable H&A Prestige Bottling Limited to remain one step ahead of the competition, by offering an enhanced range of bottling solutions.
The new line will improve our capacity and enable the business to grow during the coming months in addition to securing existing employment within the local community H&A Prestige Bottling Limited is also looking to expand internationally, with interest from the US, Mexico and India, and the new line will help the business expand into these markets”.
